I have been using Make It! for some time and I cannot seem to get the “lay down to regenerate” to function. Whenever I have that set it simply puts a “b” in the chat window.


Do I have some setting wrong or am missing something?

IF i recall correctly makeit assumes the standard keyboard configuration. and B is the default key for lie down.


if you have modified your keybaord assignments and lie down is somethig other then B then that is your problem.

I do use b as the “lay down” key. And if I did not (if I had it mapped to “dance” for instance) it still should not say “b” but do what b is mapped to.


I also have noticed that even when I lay down (by pressing b), the bot still spams “b”.

Darn I was afraid of that. I was hoping I had done something wrong and I could just not do that or fix it and ta-da!


I am considering a workaround using AC Tool. It works but the bot still spams so I think I will hide it in my house basement when cooking to avoid bothering the neighbors.

Color me confused, but what are you making that is burning your stamina?
The typical "workaround" for this bug has been to upgrade to the next level of foods.

I meant to say health not stamina in my previous.

I did not find that post in my searching. I didn’t think to look there for a solution to this.


I was making Trade Health Elixirs. I use Treated Healing Kit to heal myself, and the use eats stamina.


Reading that post though make me wonder about the ‘shrooms though it is very easy just to buy the components I need to make all the elixirs I want rather than run off to Bur (which I have not flagged for). The kits I get from doing various pincer quests so the net overhead in time and money is really just the components of the elixir, and they are cheap and take no time to get.

Bur flagging can be done in about 1 hour tops. And the short jog to the entrance portal can lead to some plants.
I have the process cut down to 1 page in my Lightweight Tome (the only truly useful thing from Mage Armor Quest).
Getting Bur Recall much more complicated, as you need to save Asheron (or tag along and just grab the final piece), and then defeat some Virndi to prove Krovas is evil.

The alternative way to get shrooms and shroom parts is to hunt Thrungus, there is a high level dungeon in the mountains behind Fuins I think, and in the lower level of Fuins is a side area filled with shroom people. Sometimes you end up with a whole mushroom thou, and you still have to goto Bur to have those cut into the 3 parts.

Alternatively if I remeber correctly, you can setup MakeIt! to use a recovery item. Rations (another thing I hate) are readily available and cheap. It might cut into your margins, but it can speed it up.
