I know it's an old plugin, but I like the ability to hotkey what's vulned/imp'd on creatures. I've downloaded and installed it and everything seems to work well except for one thing.

The program keeps spamming my chat window everytime it comes up with a "new" critter. Even when I've seen that critter many times, TI still seems to think it's new and IDs it everytime it encounters the critter. Needless to say, this is lagging me badly.

I've removed and re-installed TI several times, but still get this problem. I've spoken with several others that use this program and they do not have this issue.

I'm using version Target Info v3.1.1 Alpha

Can anyone help?

It's more likely a different plugin is doing the spam, when TI ID's something. I know Alinco and LTx have an option to spam the chat window when you ID something; they don't know the difference between you ID'ing it, and TI ID'ing it, so it'll spam every time. If you're running with either of those, try disabling them, or at least the option to spam item info.

You are absolutely right. I disabled all my plugins except target info and the decal hotkey system and sure enough the spam disappeared. All I have to do is figure out which of those programs isn't playing nicely with TI.

Thanks!

Edit: and you were correct. It was Alinco's "Show Info on Identify" what was the cause.

Again... many thanks!
