Ok I got everything installed all are checkmarks and I can get to character screen in AC. Once I click a toon AC starts to load I see the whole game and Decals bar is there but my toon stays bubbles and the server loses connection at that point every time. Any ideas?

Will it work if you disable all plugins but leave decal running?

did you install all your plugins like this was a vista OS, ie NOT to write protected/non-authorized directories? some plugin might be trying to update one of it's cookie files ect and is not permitted and hanging the whole system.


TRY disabling all plugins and see if you can load with just decal.


then activate one plugin and try to log in. repeat till you find the plugin(s) that are hanging you up.

I am running 64-bit Windows 7, and although AC runs fine, Decal will not even install. When starting the Decal installer, I get the error "Can't find script engine "VBScript". I have tried doing the registry trick to get the VBScript DLL, and it claimed to succeed, but Decal still won't even try to install.

Does anyone know for sure whether Decal will or will not run on 64-bit Windows 7?

also when you dl'ed/installed alinco3, YOU did read the preq like having .net 3 installed which the export doesn't show.

to the original poster, try to disable lifetank and see if you can get in fine like that. This is the exact same type of problem I was having.. now I run vtank and it works great.
