Author Topic: Alinco Salvaging Problem [Locked]

So I am running Vtank and Alinco and looting salvage only. Alinco is doing a good job of picking up the specific salvage that I want (with the exception of picking up some TW/Bows that are normally Silver, I heard this was an issue?). The problem is Alinco isn't salvaging my items. Anyone else having this issue? Any known fixes?


I am pretty sure I have it set up correctly but not 100% certain.

If so, then make sure all the apporopriate options are checked in Alinco.

Make sure that you have the "Auto Ust" Option checked under the settings tab.


Also, i think ur ust has to be in your main pack. not 100% sure on this though.

I have all that. When the macro is in peace mode sometimes it does it. However not always. Really weird.

I've also been having intermittent problems with salvaging, mostly with combining bags. It'll loot then salvage, but then not combine, but not all salvage types, and not all the time.

I can't remember which one does it, but when making a mixed bag of salvage (combining different crafts) either vtank or alinco attempts to make the least waste. What I mean by this is, lets say you have a bag of steel that you are making out of craft 1-8 steel. When it hits say 96 units, the program then starts looking for a craft 4 piece to complete this bag with. Until it finds that c4 piece to complete the bag, it starts another one. So it is possible to end up with a few almost complete bags in your pack.


Like I said, im not sure which program does this. But remember, if you don't have the option checked in alinco for combining salvage using its rules, it defaults to vtanks rules for combining.


Pretty sure I said that right. Kinda drunk atm and not thinking clearly. Someone correct me if I got something wrong.

I only run Alinco3, and I have observed this; so it must at least be part of Alinco3. I have not looked at the numbers to see where the to combine or not to combine line is, but it is there.

Do you have "salvage multiple items at once" enabled in the AC config? If you do, try turning that off and see if you have the same problem. I had to disable that for one plugin, but I cannot remember which.
