Hey guy i just got new wireless interenet and i can log into my account on the fist screen and when it comes up to the connecting and updating blue vile things i can connect just wont update and it says the connection to the server has been lost, i have called my internet company they allow port forwarding and all my ports are open i went to my router setup and allower ports 9000 through 9013 and talked to them and they have NAT for internet service, also have ac through my firewall i am stumped on what else to do any help would be appreciated.

With vista and win7 you cannot install AC or anything dealing with AC in the program files directory. Install AC, Decal, and all plugins to something like c:\games.

its in c:/program files (x86) the game worked fine before i switched to this internet so i know its the internet just dont know why its doing it

Has "ACClient.exe" been "allowed" through the Windows firewall?


I know you mention both the ports and the firewall were checked .. but I am double checking on it.


And is the first blue vile filling? .. or is the second one being he only problem?

yeh i made sure then i just tried to make sure my old interent would still work with it and it did so its something with this wireless internet i can get on WoW and play my xbox online fine just AC and its just the seconda vial the update one

There are only two things that cause that..
1) something is blocking permission to writing to the file in the program files directory
2) a router/firewall is blocking the incoming data.

I did all of the above mentioned forwarding, opening firewalls etc.... Finally I looked at my router setup page and found an area called allowed applications. Asheron's call was listed so I linked it to the ip and have not had a problem since.... Yes mine was doing the same thing at the second blue vials ..... Might be worth looking at
