ACDC is also running. When I crash out of the game I can no longer log back in without a restart. The client hangs before it even really opens, I don't even get to the connection screen.

It is probably one of your plug ins. Try disabling all of the plug ins with just decal running and see what happens. Also, disable the pimphand filter and virindiupdater filter. If it works fine enable the plug ins one at a time until you find the faulty one.

Is it possible the problem is related to AC dual client and not decal?

I find the fact that I can't lunch another instance of AC after a crash until after I restart odd for a decal related issue.

One of the plug ins is probably trying to use the same file and is crashing you.

once ac-dc starts the launcher its activity is over so, no i dont beleive it has anything to do with the issue

if you have win7, then yes all of that can be set to run as admin and in xp mode
