Title says it all. Looking for a step by step guide for AC and Decal install on windows 7. So far this is what i have found"


Create a folder on the C drive outside of Program files.


Uninstall any Decal and AC things you have installed right now.


When you go to install them it asks you where to install them at.

Default route is C/program files/blah blah blah


Don't delete any of it.


Simply replace what says "Program Files" with "Games" (The rest of the pathway is needed for it all to function correctly).


Do this with AC first. Then Decal. Then the same process for all the plugins you want to use.


Note: DX9 does not come with Windows 7.

You need to be sure all the pre-requisites are in place.

Sigh, the 4th reply to the List of Links for Decal and other necessities 'Sticky' post *IS* EXACTLY a walk thru of a Win 7 AC and Decal install..... *BY* yaroz_vn none the less, amazing, is it not?

It worked for me QUITE nicely, sure with the diff config's of a couple diff boxes I have I had to return to a few steps and rinse and repeat but I'm not exactly 'Tech support' here.
