I go from 90-100 FPS with 1080p fullscreen with absolutely every option at max to 10-12fps if I open the Decal Hotkey System bar. Same for pretty much all the addons I've tried. Most don't go down that far, but 30-50% at least. When I don't load decal at all with ac, my FPS nearly doubles just for not having the bar there. This is insane. I have an E8400, 4GB of RAM and a GTS450. AC should run 100fps regardless of extra UI drawn.
I just reinstalled Win7, AC and decal all from newest versions. What could be causing this?
Sync with Framerate does nothing to help with this.
Decal 2.9.6.4 also does not help at all.

It's definitely noticeable for me, which is why I do not use Decal Views. All of the plugins I use are VVS compatible plugins.

Most people DO have these issues. That's why you see most DT players state that they don't pk with decal loaded. It tanks your fps and causes a little more lag than usual.
With decal loaded and no plugins open in the game window, I get about 30-50 fps, depending on where i'm at. And that's with everything set to low.
Without decal and everything turned up to high, I get 150ish.

Oh, my mistake. I just assumed if it was so bad for everbody that it would be fixed. Figured it couldn't be that hard to draw additional UI, meh.
What is VVS? Virindi Views? Does this alt UI help? Sorry, there doesn't seem to be a wealth of info on it, just basic descripts.

2.9.6.4 has an option to disable decal views which greatly increases rendering performance. As VVS does not require Decal Views, the combination gets you plugins that don't tank your FPS.

Ahh. I see now. Decal Views is the UI for decal plugins and VVS is the virindi replacement. Ill have to install all of that. Just wish there was a way to convert old plugins like GoArrow for it's ACMaps insert. Weirdly the actual maps dont hinder performance at all, just the UI. Got to find a loot parser now. Thanks for the help everyone.

what you can do to soften the blow a bit , make your decal bar as small as possible.
with a full stretched out bar showing all plug ins i have about 60 fps with it so small it only shoes 1 plug in , it goes up to 100.

Ah, that's a great idea, thanks. The main issue was I was assuming I might be running a plugin that would have a HUD up a lot or constantly (either a self-buff plugin, fletcher, or something like bandit sight, which it seems is dead in the water) and those were what was dipping me from 160 to 10-30. It seems DHS is the worst offender by far. I just wish I could figure out how to get AC+ to work with Virindi Hotkeys (since it has no HUD anyways).
