I use Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I tried copy/pasting Decal into my Start-up folder to no avail. Every single time I turn on my comp I have to manually start Decal. When I do I then have to check YES to allow it to make changes to my computer etc etc etc. I know it's a user account control. How can I make it so that I don't have to do this each time without disableing the uac completely?

Thanks

Also, are there known issues with Windows 7 and AC w/ Decal? I can run my old ass backup comp (P4 2.4 ghz Dell xp sp3 w/ 1g ram and a crappy video card) for days w/ no issues and yet my main comp Quad core q6600 oc'd to 3.2 ghz 6 gigs crucial ram and a gts 450 1g video card) has problems all the time. I installed a ssd for just ac and my os and have almost nothing else on the drive and I have all sorts of problems. Everything is Decal related it seems.

Thanks again for any input.

http://vnboards.ign.com/ac_utilities/b5432/113031404/p1/?41 - Install all the files in the first post of this thread, then go down about 5 more and follow the directions for installing AC/Decal in Win7

As far as the UAC, the next time the window pops up asking for permission when you start decal, there should be an option to always allow this program, or something like that.

Or either go into the UAC menu and allow decal.

I am good to go. Amazing how disableing the UAC controls comletely fixed all my issues. What a joke.
