How to prevent Vtank from using ANY mana stones by default

I need to keep Vtank from detecting and using ANY mana stones by default on all characters.
It's really annoying to login on a mule and have Vtank recharging items.
I don't want Vtank to ever recharge any items on all characters by default.
How can I do this?

under advanced options change refillwornmana to false

you make it 'global' by individually setting it on every toon.
or you can NOT add mana stones to the consumable tab

Vtank finds stones and automatically adds them to consumables.
The only safe way is to disable VT, login, strip naked, logout,
enable VT, login, set that option (or remove mana stones it finds from consumables).
I'm guaranteed to forget when it matters most. A major PITA.

Stuff is only automatically added to consumables the first time you login each character. After that any changes you make will persist.

Man, what a huge problem! Major Mana Stones are soooooo costly we can't let this continue! Quick, everyone uninstall Vtank! That'll learn'em!
