The server may have taken a power spike and lost a HD. The admin is working to recover data.

Any ETA on when the forum will be up? I'm just starting to look into decal development and I really need to look up some stuff on the forum. I tried archive.org but it only has the forum index, I can't open the posts 
Or does someone have a crawled copy of the forum?

Ok I really could need some kind of decal documentation and the forum had a lot of great information.
So please, does someone have a copy of the decal forum?

ok.. i've been checking site every few days.....
Today it dawned on me that although I remembered to check to see if the site was up....that I have forgotten what i was gonna post or look for....

We have the data -- but the quality of service you get for free isn't quite what we'd like. Our admin is using this time to try and get us a far more modern machine to use as a server, and it's taking a while to get the set up working properly as we've been using truly ancient versions of most software. The previous machine was running FreeBSD 4.11, if that means anything to anyone.

I like more modern servers
As for FreeBSD it's homepage says the latest production version is 8.2...... Digging deeper freebsd 4.11 was released in 2005.

haz, if you have the message board backups, I can try to get them up and running for you. The OS doesn't matter, as long as you have the forum software running a compatible version.
