why is your linked list head a ptr to a ptr? Been awhile since I worked with LL's, but I thought they were typically pointers to nodes.

Also, you're implying that I'm just a pointer, and I don't think I like that

I tried it. I run Decal 2.9.6.0 on my desktop PC (I'm on my laptop atm, so I can't give you an export). I dl'd it, ran the 'install' and it gave me a .dll file. Since that was the only file, I went into Decal config and did the 'add', 'browse' routine on the .dll. I didn't get any errors, but plugin manager doesn't show up anywhere. I reboot, tried again, same thing. I don't know what was supposed to happen, so I stopped messing with it. (I didn't know if plugin manager would run when I started Decal, or maybe there's an .exe file missing for me to run plugin manager).

I'd test it, if I knew what it does, mind a quick overview so I'd know what to expect, the name only implies so much and I'd hate to assume so much about a plugin.
