I'm attaching some screenshots of error boxes that pop up while launching the game, I think some of this has to do with using ACC, I did not have any of these problems before updating so I hope that some of this will provide enough info to find a cure. I can get the game to run so it's not stopping me, but I usually have to attempt launching the game several times before things work, once in game it's been pretty trouble free.

I've found that this error message appears when I try to load a second client via ACC if the tick box for "Start Decal?" is selected, I've since just unchecked that box and have to remember to start Decal manually now, It does randomly still generate this message even with that box unchecked. Getting this message will cause ACC to close and the game not to launch.

These 4 errors appear back to back, I've no clue yet what's causing them, these are completely random, about 2 out of 5 attempts to launch the game, when I get these, the game crashes once I click ok on all 4 of the error dialog boxes.

Im having this same problem, but it doesnt happen everytime i log ingame, and ive found that if these errors occur, its best to still log completely ingame and than log off and close the client and restart.

I know you guys are busy and have better things to do, but this is a minor irritation to me that I'd rather not deal with and am trying to decide if I should just revert back to the previous version of Decal or try to be more patient and see if someone might bite at this problem with at least a reply of.. "not sure" before I do.

This problem appears to be an installation failure. It appears that the policy files that update decal components to the latest version are not installed.

Please navigate o c:\windows\assembly with explorer, scroll down to 'p'. You should have several entries like this:

policy.2.9.Decal...

Take a screen shot if they are present, if they are missing, please uninstall and reinstall, making sure to run as admin.

Try disabling UAC in Windows. Honestly that's a crapshoot, I have no clue what's going on here. OpenProcess should never fail!

Thanks Hazridi an Paradox, I feel better knowning the experts gave it a look and don't see anything obvious. I'll try that, but the problem is random, so I'm with you, I think it will be a crap shoot.. I'm thinking my best bet will be to go back to 2.9.6.0, I hate to do that, I really like that the spellbar issue is fixed in .5, but the problem I'm having here is beginning to frustrate me enough that I think it's warranted.
