I used Tings for about a day, very nice program, however, everytime I changed chars or launched another copy (dual client) of AC, tings would bring up the desktop app, at one point I had 15+ instances of this app running, is there anyway to disable this functionality? The in-game tools were all I care to use.

Try current version. It will not auto start ac companion now.
