everytime i log in, i see my character standing there as usual. I go to move around and then as soon as a press one of the keys, the game freezes up and then the graphics start bugging out. in the process of this happening, my whole computer begins to freeze for like 5 minutes, then the game crashes finally. i have two nvidia 9800 gt's in my computer running in SLI mode. I have tried both non-sli and sli mode and neither setting is working. my operating system is windows xp, i have the most recent drivers available. if anyone else has any advice, please help!

just uninstalled old drivers and reinstalled new ones, still does it.

Are you using Decal? If so, you need to post a Decal Export, otherwise no one will be able to help you.
