Is it possible that Darktide could get its own 'general chat' using the virindi chat system? Our general chat gets owned by Envoy Sparker daily and if you've ever had a run in with Sparker you know how she is.

Sparker doesn't follow the CoC. She follows menstrual cycles.

You already can make your own VI2 Channel

You could make a channel called Darktide and make a shortcut /dt

Anyone can join it, no one can moderate it, blah blah blah.

Click on the White Hat Icon

Type "Darktide" in Add and hit Add
Click on the Darktide Channel
Type "dt" or "cg" or "x" or whatever in the Set Shortcut and click Set to add it

Actually.. Virindi can monitor it. She has booted people out of /vcg before for language and whatnot... Also, unless you get other people to jump on the VI2 channel, you'll just be talking to yourself.

I can monitor it, but I don't. I only kick/ban people from vi2 for language in the vigeneral channel. You can say anything you want on your private channels.

The only thing that will get you in trouble with me on a private channel is flooding the server (for instance, sending messages automatically using actool). If you just use it for regular chat I don't care.
