Don't remember having to do anything special other then NOT have any healing kits or other simular items on the Consumables tab.

I think spell healing is a natual fall back in vTank... ?

Maybe I'm wrong and there's something in "Advanced" settings of vTank that has to be enabled. I'll look later tonight when I get home.

I agree with you PicaroLC. More so, even with having Healing Kits selected in the Consumables tab, my Melee toon can run out of Healing Kits and automatically pull out his wand .. and heal himself with a Life Stam-to-Health.

Largegroh43, when it comes time for your toon to heal, what does he attempt to do? .. if anything? Also are there any AC client error messages at the top of the screen? Or any errors from VTank in the chat screen?

If VTank is attempting to heal, it should give you some message for why it is unsuccessful.

if he has the Healing skill i believe he will default to it

you can either un-train it or raise the Advance> Recharge> MinimumHealKitChanceSuccess ## till he doesn't use kits any more

LoL, now that's thinking outside the box!!

Any chance that this "MinimumHealKitChanceSuccess" number varies with the amount of Health you need recovered? (Thinking; we can fine tune this in such a way that if we're down 40 HP or less, we use kits, if down more then 40 HP we use LifeMagic?) =)

Another issue though, if you have secondary "emergency" health consumables programmed such as Tumerok Salted Meats, won't vTank just use those when the KitChance is too high? hmm... yeah, I think this setting is what determines when to use kits or emergency items... oh well. When I want to use Life instead of Kits I just remove Kits from the consumables tab.

P.S. you don't have to untrain Healing to not use it, just don't have any healing items on the consumables tab...

This. If you want to use spells only, just make sure that you don't have any kits or potions listed.

For people interested in exact details, I have written the following entry:

Thanks VI! I had just been searching your WiKi for exactly that info... Also wondering if the priorities were configurable, oh lol, they are, I just saw that last line.

Thank you again!
