Yes, it's quite common for them to go down for a week or two at a time.

I just looked and it seems that acmaps.com uses thejackcat.net for their name servers, but Maggie's site is also down, which most likely is the cause of acmaps being down.

I've noticed that Maggie's site has been down for months now. And have not related the outage between.


I did attempt to email Greeneye. But my last known address goes through the acmaps.com domain. I'm getting rejections there (no surprise).


If we could contact Greeneye, I would like to ask permission to 'paste' his jpg maps directly into ACCWikki .. onto each of the dungeon description pages themselves.

I believe Tlosk has contact info for Greeneye. I know he has corresponded with him in the past. Someone could PM him here or on the Turbine boards, or email him if you have his email.

I know that someone posted on the turbine forums and said that they contacted greeneyes for permission and he denied it.

Go to http://ac.wikkii.net and search go arrow and there is a link at the bottom of the page to update go arrow,,,, but unfortinaly there are still no updated dungon maps for it only map items. the wikkii has some dungon maps that have been updated.

I've tried reaching out again to Greeneye and now to Maggie also without result. Because both sites are still down (after a prolonged period) I've decided to temporarily adjust our template behavior on the wiki's dungeon and quest pages so that links to wikimaps will now display the map image itself.


If the sites come back up or I am contacted by Greeneye or Maggie I will happily revert our template behavior to point to the original pages.


Hopefully no one will get mad at me, I'm just trying to do what's right for the AC community.

PS I am still working on a complete set of open usage maps for the wiki that will be unencumbered, but at almost a thousand dungeons it isn't going as fast as I'd hoped (rather than posting them all at once for consistency in layout I'll be publishing them in blocks of a hundred or more at a time). The base maps don't take that long, it's mostly the coloring/detail placement/verification of spawns-levers-chests that takes a while. Turbine is doing a very good job of adding content faster than we can document it lol.
