for those who dunno the host file fix what you do is goto C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc open hosts add on a blank line:

127.0.0.1 www.acmaps.com

or if you want to label it so you know what it is:

#Asherons Call ACMAPS for Go Arrow
127.0.0.1 www.acmaps.com

the # is like a comment out box so it doesnt read it as an IP

1.Set Host file to 127.0.0.1 www.acmaps.com
2.download HFS: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/hfs.html
3.goto GoArrowVVSEdition folder and make a folder such as "fix"
4.create file "dungeon_ids.csv" within the "fix" folder by using notepad, make sure it contains no data.
5.Install HFS and run it.
6.Right click file dungeon_ids.csv and select "Add to HFS"
7.Make sure HFS is set to port: 80 since GoArrow uses ftp port: 80 when it originally trys to contact www.acmaps.com
8.Make sure the file "dungeon_ids.csv" has been added to HFS
9.Delete errors.txt within the GoArrowVVSEdition folder.
10. Login
End
Fixed!

If you don't want to install a server on your computer, you can just point your hosts file to mine.
I set up a server on an extra static IP address I have with an empty dungeon_ids.csv file.

Just add this to your hosts file:

173.160.225.172 www.acmaps.com

Make sure to remove any other hosts file entries for www.acmaps.com, if you have one.

Well now you are one step closer to hosting the maps. If you have had the computer for a long time you probably have most the maps in your cache history anyway.

Thank you for this, btw.

LoL! FTP on port 80 instead of the normal ports? is that why it seemed to hang the logon worse when I tried to use IIS internally on my own computer to fake GoArrow out? So is it not using HTTP at all? or do I need to change that to port 21/22? hehe. Or did you make a typo?

This is a dedicated server (linux). I don't have permission to host them, anyways.

From a purely technical aspect, I could host the maps.
However, I only have dungeon_ids.csv and maps up to 2006
But I wouldn't do it without permission.
