I have returned recently (one more time, yeah) to the game and I see that there are these new trinkets which can be imbued with the use of gearcrafting. I have read the information on the wiki and I am still left with some questions.

It appears that the loot generated trinkets also carry spells on their own.

- Do trinkets come with spells as any other loot-generated item (majors, minors, regular spells, etc?), or there's something special about the spells they can drop with?

- Does imbuing change the activation difficulty of a trinket?

- What is a good combination of spells for a PvM character? Is it different for different classes? I think some combination of damage bonus, damage reduction and health increase is good - do all of these stack with all other existing spells or they overlap with something? Which of the imbues make the most difference?

- It appears that the right sequence to get a trinket is to find one with useful innate spells (an epic or major at the minimum, I'd figure), do a major upgrade and if it succeeds, apply the two other upgrades. Did I miss something important?

That is a good way to go, but you could wait a whil until you get that perfect piece.
A faster way to get an upgrade out of a trinket is to get a plain junk one (preferably of low craft) and put a major upgrade on it, then the other 2.
At least you'll have some additional stats until you get a better base trinket.
