I played from 99 till 01 and just got back in. Whats a good template for a noob. I know sword and Item M are good, or was good. What are cantrips, majors,minors? Any advice guys. Ive been reading wiki but I wanted to ask some of you that have been playing for years. Also 2H or 1H for a noob? Thx guys

also i see stuff like this 100/99/11/10/100/60 for starting stats. I dont start with that many points. is there a way to increase your starting points?

No you can't. Start with one of the templates. You can always change your skills/specs later easily.
