How does a pure melee character win in there? Seems like more mage loving to me. I gave up and just recalled after 15 minutes.

spectral life rare for first wing, and a weeper/blighted makes it pretty painless.

No rares necessary:
-Assess Creature lense
-Blighted weapon (you want a blighted, not a weeping, trust me. Difference in attack mod is HUGE.)
Done in 25-30 minutes.

25-30 mins? I think I have an easier method then. I go and snag a soul bound staff from GY (I don't waste coins binding it since the quest takes minutes + free coins) then I just wand the mobs to death. I didn't really check time too much but I am pretty sure I was under 20 minutes.
On a mage I can blow through in under 8 minutes - melees this quest stinks. I might try the melee / spectral life rare next time, thanks for the tip.
