This has probably been brought up to no end but I'm going to mention it anyways. A lot of people ask when AC 'died.' I think it began when they introduced housing and marketplace because for me the social aspect evaporated. No one hung out at town's or subway anymore and that was some of my favorite parts of the game. It's too late (and maybe impossible) to remove those things now but would a server consolidation at least bring what players are left together to create a more socially active game? Or would it be too depressing?

Now when I play I'll recall mansion and there will be 5 or 6 people (toons anyway) there and that's more than there is in any town at any given moment usually.
