Is there a bug in their system? Can't make an account unless they email me this key.

Did you check your spam box?

Far as I know everything is working. Try another email address, we all have 10 these days.

Tried a few other emails and got the key finally on one. Now I'm having trouble logging into game. I get to a title screen with two spirals at the bottom. One is blue and says "connected" the other is grey and says "update progress." After sitting at that screen for a minute or so it says connection has been lost.

Who knows

Older game.. which means.. PORTS! (my first guess anyways)

UDP Ports
9000, 9001, 9004, 9005, 9008, 9012, 9013

These need to be open on your router.

Thanks. Did some google searching and ports 9000-9013 are open now. Same problem exists. Even tried DMZ with no luck Back to google for me.

Trying more stuff:

- removed computer from router (plugged directly into modem)
- disabled windows firewall
- 9000-9013 port forwarded (doesn't matter now not using router)
- adaware and spybot turned off
- run as administrator
- tried combatibility mode to Windows XP SP2

Arrggg!!! why isn't this working??

Is it a DSL modem? My DSL modem has its own set of port forwarding features until I put it in bridge mode and let the router do that work.

Perhaps log into that and check the settings.

Glad you got it working. Sadly the patch server still runs at 1999 speeds lol.

Enjoy.
