Sure feels like the good old days 
Anyhow, trying to play on a Win 7 machine but when I log in just get black instead of where the world should be. Still trying to sort it out.

Yep, everything was up to date. Turns out the problem was port forwarding. I reconfigured the router and it all works fine now. Yay!
Game sure has changed in the last ...5-6 years
