They must have had some different artists working on this race because it is a big step-up from the other races. I think they butchered all the other new ones except the shadow. Hopefully the lugian will be up to the same level of quality.
Now if they are trying to get new people they really need to make a new system so that people can find these quests easier. (I had no idea about that building you recall to by orb that has all those quests, I wish I had known sooner.

I agree im having mucho fun on my new Tummey Spear toon, trying to make him as self sufficient as possible.

You didn't ever wonder what that orb was in your pack and look at it or ask what it was in /cg?? Finding quests is something you have to get used to in AC and has always been there. After the hub you have to find quests. Yes, there are some contracts to help, but you still have to go and explore/find things. This isn't like WoW with the glowing exclamation marks, highlighted maps and glowing objects/creature you have to find/kill. It is one of the things that makes AC great. Glad you're having fun.
The tumeroks are ac2 tumeroks, the gearknights are ac2 gearknights. The shadows are just ac1 shadows, same with the olthoi. The undead/skeletons are all new. The empyreans are just scaled up humans with glowing eyes.
