it's been like 10 years since i've played this game and I can't remember how random drops work. was gear predermined or did the game generate random stats for an item each time it dropped. was talking to friend about how MMO's nowadays always have people wanting very specific pieces and even what monster they'll drop from. i wished games would generate them like I thought AC did, farming would be alot less boring if you didn't know what to expect and awesome when you luck out and get something with crazy stats that everyone wants when they see it

each piece of armor weapons or jewelry is randomly created. Stats are not static like in wow.

loot system is one of the reasons why AC is still better than any other MMO ever made.
that and the fact that it's still the only game with a real contiguous overworld.

Newer MMO's blow chunks when it comes to loot generation and distribution.
AC is the only MMO my wife will play, and only because of the fantastic loot system. It's like shopping for her.

I downloaded SWTOR and I wanted to tear my eyeballs out. Fucking WoW clone, WoW has ruined the genre forever.

Well, when you design a game to cater to the lowest profitable denominator, WoW and it's copycats are what you get.
