I'm currently unsubbed and have been since about October because of the February patch

I read the notes regarding the patch and noticed Turbine will be resetting the attribute/skill temple timers.

I do not think one reset is enough. The attributes are already on a pain in the ass timer, and with all of the changes I believe there should be a time period where people can play around with their templates before they get stuck waiting for timers.

Now, since I'm not subscribed, can someone please purpose this, if it has not been already suggested, on the Turbine boards?

Perhaps for the whole month of February the timers for the temples will be removed or reduced to a minute? I think removed would be the best option.

Both the temples and the new reset NPCs will be reset. This means you can use the reset NPCs to fully readjust your attributes and skills and then use the temples to do more changes as you want. This also means that after a month you can fully reset your attributes and skills again if somehow you really screwed up.


There shouldn't be all that much changing for most people. They will swap over to the new skill that let's them play the same way they always have for the same cost they've always had and will simply have to decide if one of the new skills is interesting enough to build into their template, which won't require a whole character reset to try out anyway.

But are they really making Mace and Axe skill transfer to Light Weapons and only Sword to Heavy? So dumb.

Light weapon damage is going to be comparable to axe/mace damage now and heavy will be comparable to sword. Seems like it makes sense.

there is weapons of every type in each category so i see not where the issues are. you can still play one weapon if you want.
