The union representing D.C. police claims crime in the District is up, in part because officers are being pulled from neighborhood patrols and reassigned to monitor the Occupy D.C. protests. 	Yean and violent crime went up 4 fold between 1960 and 1970 in DC, maybe we should rescind the 18 year old vote and the civil rights legislation.
