Ok i understand the part of pro-rating the benefits when you have a short month but to charge me a month worth of benefits when I only drew 9 days worth of benefits for that month is a load of crap.

My wife fights these sorts of problems for vets all the time (it's part of her job). Good old Uncle Sam. Pay the people that don't deserve it and fight paying the people that do.

I am lucky I live only 45 mins away from a regional processing headquarters, so I can just take a drive and bitch and get results.

But still I have to make the drive, calling them only gets things resolved at government speed, if you want something done fast better show up in person.

after digging out my certification paper and cross referencing my bank account the VA owes me another 2 months worth of benefits.
