Wow, how much of a movie geek am I?? I saw your subject line and knew *immediately* what movie it was from...
...anyway, wouldn't it be cool if someone did invent a box that would allow them to do just that? Who would stake claims on what? Who would turn away from their obligations, now that the entire slate was wiped clean? Not to mention, that unless this "magic box" erased all the back-ups, there would still be logs of transactions, and listings of who holds what.
