But while they are able to perform demanding tasks and are bred for routine training, they also have the makeup to be potential danger and capable of seriously harm to people
I would suggest a lab or golden retriever.

labs can get the crazies just the same... retrievers may not be strong enough to support a human.

Sheppards can be quite menacing but I think thats mostly because they are very protective.
