My best friend of near 20 years is getting hitched. She, for whatever reason, decided to name me her maid of honor. Despite having seen Bridesmaids like all females are supposed to do (lulz), I googled what I had to do. Holy crap.

My favorites from the list I found are:
*If you're asked to be a maid of honor, the best things you can offer to the bride are your support, time, and your money
*In outdoor weddings, watch out for ledges where birds may be resting. It has happened before for a bride to be pelted by a bird which is not a pretty site. (who edited this?)

We both basically have no idea what we're doing.

For my friends wedding I had to go in for constant fittings on the hideous dress that she also made me pay for. Oh God it was ugly. I edited their wedding video and hmm.. that's all I remember about being maid of honor at her wedding.
