Thanks for the suggestion about headphones.



I checked out ATH-M50s but outside the US the price goes up $60-80 so it was more expensive than the V-Moda M-80s which were also highly recommended (maybe even higher recommended)


Just got them today. The head set is smaller than I was anticipating...they actually fit my ears! Testing them out right now for comfort, but the sound is outstanding.

I can tell they're not noise cancelling but I can tell they're noise isolating because I missed a phone call while playing with 'em...but I can still here myself hammering away on my ghetto keyboard in the background.

We'll see if other people around me can hear the sound, but they're LOUD. Got them on about 1/2 power right now and it feels like there is a concert in my head.

Awesome. You tried listening to any FLAC files yet? Sound quality goes up substantially listening to a high quality audio file through a sound card through high quality headphones. All you need after that is to kick your feet up and light up a J.

Havn't tried a FLAC file yet.

Got the feet up and a beer in my hand...best I'll allow myself to do inside my house
