It would be nice to see this come to fruition in my lifetime if the results meet with even half of the claims. I'm rather tired of the whole energy dilemma constantly hanging over our heads. But I'm of the opinion that, that is deliberate. Power denied or rationed to people keeps them a captive audience of political power merchants.

yeah.. thorium reactors need to come to fruition asap. I definitely think it would be a great leap for all mankind.

"The LFTR is a type of thorium molten salt reactor (TMSR). Molten-salt-fueled reactors (MSFRs) such as LFTR, where the nuclear fuel itself is in the form of liquid molten salt mixture, should not be confused with only molten-salt-cooled but solid-fueled reactors."


Glad Wiki cleared it up, this has been confusing me for years.
